AirAsia to Increase Flights Frequency to India

In a bid to offer more connectivity to fliers booking tickets for flights running between India and Malaysia, the low-cost carrier, AirAsia is increasing its frequency from Trichy or Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu to Kuala Lumpur from May 26 2013.

The airline is going to expand the number of services from eleven to fourteen per week and run these additional flights thrice a week - Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

It is believed that the increased frequency will benefit the Indian nationals working and living in Malaysia and nearby regions. It is also going to catch the attention of budget travellers and international vacationers who are often to be seen hunting for cheap and affordable tickets on services operating between the two destinations.

Besides, the airline is also introducing promotional all-in-fares to delight the passengers flying on the route. These special fares are available only on increased frequencies operating three times a week.

Jet Airways and South African Airways Signs Codeshare Pact

India’s premier airline, Jet Airways (JAI) and South African Airways (SAA) have got into a mutual alliance by signing a codeshare agreement! The two carriers have signed the pact by providing flights to more destinations between India and South Africa.
