Lonely Planet has announced it intends to set up operations in India in the next 12 months.The popular travel guide series will produce content written by Indian authors, which would provide those booking flights to India with an option to focus on more local events and activities.
According to the company, the growth of the travel market in the south Asian nation presents an "exciting opportunity" for it to "connect" with different audiences.
