Travellers planning to make the most of airport hotels before jetting off on long flights to India or other countries have been advised to check they know its exact location first.Kathrin Cockhill, director of sales and marketing at the Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts, for Stansted Airport said that the best advice for people looking for accommodation close to the terminal is to book early to avoid missing getting a room.
She added that some premises may state they are airport hotels, but they could in reality be two or three miles from the terminal itself.
