IndiGo, the budget airline of India started new services from March 1, bringing big cheers to flyers seeking tickets on domestic and international routes.
The airline is expanding its domestic network across India by increasing flights frequencies between major destinations including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Kochi. It will now offer tickets for 5th daily direct flights on Delhi-Chennai sector and second daily direct Delhi-Kochi service.
Additionally, the carrier will run its new fourth direct operation on Mumbai-Chennai sector and fourth everyday service linking Mumbai and Kolkata. Besides providing economical options to budget travellers who prefer cheap deals for travel tickets, the airline is putting its best foot forward to ensure wide connections between major metros of India.
With this launch, the India-based budget carrier would now be running 399 flights per day across 33 destinations in the country.
On the international segment, IndiGo is introducing direct flights to Dubai from Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai-Singapore route, offering wide-connectivity to foreign travellers who hunt for cheap flights deals and low-fares to fly from India and two foreign destinations. Besides, it is going to offer tickets for second daily operation on Mumbai-Dubai sector.
It is believed that the airline’s move of such a substantial increase will directly benefit the domestic as well as foreign flyers who seek low-fares and tickets to fly within and out of the country.
