Budget holiday makers who are looking for tickets on cheap flights or have already booked their tickets on scheduled direct/indirect flights bound for India have an added alternative in terms of accommodation.
Those tourists planning holidays to Bangalore in South India now can choose to book their rooms at the newly launched 'Formule1' in the city of Bangalore, India’s Mecca of IT. The hotel has been launched by Accor, Asia Pacific’s largest hotel operator that runs brands such as Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Suite Novotel, Mercure, Adagio, ibis, and Formule 1, ranging from budget to luxury.
The hospitality group aims to offer basic comfort at the best of prices for domestic and international tourists booking tickets aboard flights landing in India. The management of the chain believes that destinations like Bangalore hold great potential and the budget pad will surely attract customers there.
Industry insiders believe that the opening of another Formule1 hotel has underpinned the expansion strategy of Accor in the accommodation sector in India. With the best value in its class, Accor’s newest hotel is sure to set a benchmark in terms of budget accommodation.
In addition, the hospitality major also plans to launch four more properties in Hinjewadi and Pimpri in Pune, Gurgaon, and Hyderabad. As of now, the group has 19 hotels with 3780 rooms and two convention centres in India and looks to cater to all kinds of tourists and business travellers who grab tickets deals on flights to the country.
