Holidaymakers who have booked flights to India may wish to get up close and personal with tigers in the Satpura National Park.
Brian Jackman, writing for the Daily Telegraph, advised the area is India’s “best-kept secret” and offers animal lovers the opportunity to track wild tigers on foot.
Even if a tiger is not spotted, this is sure to be an interesting experience for adventurous holidaymakers, as trekkers can see the fresh tracks of tigers and traces of the animals throughout the park. Ranger Hashim Tyabji said: “I truly believe that walking enables you to get to know and understand the jungle in a way that is simply impossible by Jeep.”
