Most Britons hope to save money on their travel plans for a summer holiday, according to a poll. In a street survey in Sheffield, 70 per cent of people said that they would be looking to shave at least 25 per cent off the cost of their annual break.
A majority said that they would not shy away from looking for the best deal for more than three days. Looking for cheap flights could help the 30 per cent who are aiming to spend less for their 2010 summer holiday than they did for last year's.
Comparison and voucher discount sites are two ways in which people will be looking to save money.
