Jet Airways, one of India’s leading names in aviation, has decided to amp up its flight services between Kuwait and Mumbai. The airline is currently offering daily flights to Mumbai from Kuwait, and from June 8, 2012, it will offer an additional frequency four times a week on the route.
The new operation will take the number of flights to India, connecting Mumbai from Kuwait to 11 in a week. It sure is good news for travellers as more flight options will mean better chances of landing up with tickets on cheap flights to India from Kuwait!
Apart from offering more links between Kuwait and Mumbai, the new service will provide seamless connectivity to guests taking flights to India for onward journey on the airline’s domestic and international network. Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Dhaka, Kathmandu and Colombo are going to be some of the popular destinations for onward journey, says the airline.
Aircraft Boeing 737-800 will be used for the new service. The aircraft will feature Premiere and Economy class travel for the flyers, making sure that the needs of both luxury seekers as well as travellers who prefer relatively cheap flight deals are taken care of.
The flight timing of the new service is as follows:
Flight 9W573 will take off from Kuwait at 0050 hrs local time (LT) on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and arrive at Mumbai airport at 0730 hrs (LT). For the return journey, Flight 9W 574 will depart Mumbai at 2220 hrs (LT) on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and land in Kuwait at 2350 hrs (LT).
