Hyatt Hotels Corporation has really taken a fancy for India! Chicago-based hospitality firm’s affiliates have signed management agreements for couple of new properties in India.
Andaz Hotel in Gurgaon and Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kochi will be established, bringing the figure of announced Hyatt-branded hotels under development in India to 56.
Andaz Gurgaon will be located in Gurgaon, a busy business and industrial hub that lies on the outskirts of the Delhi, the nation’s capital. The city houses offices of most renowned IT companies in the globe and remains inundated with heaps of corporate executives who travel here on flights to India landing in Delhi. The new hotel will likely cater to and be highly popular among this particular segment of visitors.
Grand Hyatt Kochi is located in one of country’s hottest holiday destinations, Kochi, which is a southern city in the state of Kerala. Heaps of tourists book cheap flights to India and take a tour to Kochi only to unravel the wonderful gems of this charming city.
As far as locations of the new hotels go, Hyatt seems to have got it right!
Slated to open up in later half of 2014, Andaz Gurgaon will feature 275 guest rooms and 75 serviced apartments, and will include multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar and a gourmet store, a spa, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. Likely to be operational in the beginning of 2017, Grand Hyatt Kochi will include 250 guest rooms and all the top services and amenities for the guests.
