Business travellers and holiday makers seeking flights tickets on the London Heathrow-Mexico City route would be delighted with the news that Aeromexico has launched flights on the sector. The airline is offering tickets options on flights service that is thrice-a week.
The maiden flight was launched few days back and passengers on the flight were greeted by a traditional Mariachi band and presented souvenirs from the carrier.
Aeromexico is using Boeing 767 to offer the services. The aircraft is equipped with angled lie-flat business class seats for those purchasing tickets for the premium class.
Flights will depart Mexico City on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 2220 and will land at the Heathrow at 1500 the next day. For the return leg, airline is offering tickets on flights that would leave London on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 1725, arriving in Mexico City at 0035.
There are also reports that the carrier will be looking to increase the flights frequency on the route to offer more alternatives for those looking for tickets. It could well be made a daily service, hint news reports. The operator will get its hands around state-of-the-art B787 Dreamliner in August 2013 and this will surely offer the push required to make the frequency daily.
The national airline of Mexico has a network that includes over 600 daily flights to 45 cities in Mexico, as well as international destinations in the United States, Canada, Central and South America.
