Five-star carrier, Emirates has announced to enhance its frequency on the route connecting Dubai and Bangkok from March, 2013. The airline will now offer tickets on five daily flights instead of four daily services on the sector.
This move by the airline is expected to make it the operator with the highest frequency on routes to the Middle East.
Industry experts believe that the airline has planned to increase its daily flights in order to accommodate the anticipated high demand of travel tickets to Bangkok during the festive period.
The news of the carrier strengthening its frequency between Dubai and Bangkok has certainly delighted festival goers as they now have even more flexibility to grab cheap deals for tickets on flights for Songkran holidays to Bangkok.
Various reports floating in the online media also hint that the airline is also set to expand its flights to other Southeast Asian destinations to build the Dubai gateway to Asia.
Apart from enhancing its Bangkok flights frequency, from 31st March, 2013, the carrier will also offer tickets on four services daily instead of the earlier three between Kuala Lumpur and Dubai, while it’s third Jakarta bound flights will commence on March 1, 2013.
Earlier, the operator introduced 517-seat A380 to offer more tickets on its Singapore service, last December. Besides, it also started offering tickets on a daily service to Ho Chi Minh City, last June.
