Mesmerising India makes for a wonderful family travel destination and many families with kids return with a quintessential holiday experience from the country. Amusement parks, zoos, and aquariums – India has all this and much more. Check out a little information on just some of the children’s attractions from four major Indian cities.

Mumbai

Think Mumbai, think Essel World. Often billed as the largest amusement park in the country, Essel World is definitely the place to go to if you are catching flights to Mumbai with your kids. Full of a number of exciting rides as well as the opportunities for ice skating, and simulated horror zone, the Essel World has been winning the hearts of children for years. Delhi

Many travellers booking cheap flights to India for a tour of the country start their India travel with Delhi. Bangalore

Known as the air conditioned city for its fabulous year round weather, Bangalore makes for an excellent holiday destination. The city has quite a few attractions for kids. A highly popular place is the Bangalore Aquarium. Filled with a diverse variety of exotic aquatic life, the Bangalore aquarium enchants kids and their parents alike. Some of the different fish species are mahseer, freshwater prawns, blue gourami, Siamese fighters, catla, Indian tiger barb, angel fish, glow light tetra, and red tail shark. Another top place for kids is the Bangalore Bal Bhavan. This amusement park is full of tree houses, swings, and opportunities for horse riding. Children can also hone their creative abilities by joining one of the hobby classes on arts, crafts, and painting.
