Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), India’s major tourism show recently concluded successfully with a record attendance of more than 11,000 visitors. The 100th edition of the event held from September 7 to 9, 2012 in Mumbai witnessed 150 participants, from both domestic and international players.
This tourism fair has helped to increase the demand of flights to India. TTF saw representation from 21 Indian states and 6 countries from across the globe.
Indian states of Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Lakshadweep and Kerala also organised interesting cultural presentations to encourage more tourists to look for flights tickets to India to get a slice of country’s diverse cultures and traditions during the upcoming holiday season.
Some of the key global players that participated in the fest were UK, Bhutan, China, Dubai, Japan and Maldives. These participating countries showcased their offerings in an endeavour to tempt Indian travellers to look for international flights to their country for leisurely breaks and business purposes.
UK led the team of international participants as the feature country. The nation conducted workshops to brief tour operators about the attractions of Great Britain, that are hugely responsible for pushing enquiries on flights tickets to the country.
