Etihad to Boost Flight Capacity on Melbourne-Abu Dhabi Sector

UAE’s flag carrier, Etihad Airways has announced to enhance the capacity of its daily flights on its popular route connecting UAE and Australia with effect from December 1, 2013. The airline will now deploy a new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to offer more tickets on daily flights between UAE and Melbourne.

With Etihad’s recent move, international flyers who are often to be seen scrambling for tickets on flights between Abu Dhabi and Melbourne will have added options and more flexibility at their disposal. The enhanced flight capacity will spell more convenient options for tickets buyers travelling from Abu Dhabi to book their flights with the Etihad to connect to Melbourne.

The national carrier of UAE’s emirate of Abu Dhabi will now deploy its sleek Boeing B777-300Extended Range (ER) aircraft to offer flights tickets on the popular travel sector. The aircraft will replace the current Airbus A340 aircraft and the airline will now offer tickets for 328 seats aboard the aircraft on the route.
The three-class Boeing 777-300ER will be used to offer eight seats in Diamond First class, 40 in Pearl Business class and 280 in Coral Economy class on UAE-Melbourne sector.

With its increased flight capacity on the route, the airline endeavours to tap the increasingly higher number of tickets buyers who look for flights options on the UAE-Australia route. Besides, increased number of seats on the route may also spell as relatively cheap flights tickets options for budget vacationers planning to travel on the route, especially the economy class travellers.
