More trains added to Kalka Shimla railway

Anyone who has booked flights to Amritsar may want to consider visiting one of the hill stations in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Now, travellers will find it even easier to reach one of the region's best-known towns with an increase in the number of trains on the route between Shimla and Kalka. Asian Lite revealed that a special holiday train service has started running between Kalka and Shimla in time for the peak tourist season.

The news agency noted that the train will have space for 200 passengers.
