Australia expects visitor numbers to rise

More travellers are expected to book flights to Australia over the next 12 months, according to one organisation in the country.

The latest figures issued by the Tourism Forecasting Committee (TFC) predict that inbound arrivals will rise by 5.5 per cent by the end of 2010, with a further increase of 4.9 per cent expected in 2011. Between 2009 and 2014, the TFC anticipates that the number of Brits booking flights to Australia will rise by 1.9 per cent.
