India tourism sector did pretty well in 2011. Figures for Foreign Tourist Arrival (FTA) and Foreign Exchange Earning (FEE) went up last year and are quite encouraging even for 2012.
More travellers taking flights to India is clearly an indication of Indian airports getting busier by the day. International cheap flights to India along with domestic airlines transporting millions of passengers annually test the airport passenger facilities to their limits.
