Dubai’s Emirates is amplifying its operations to Venice! The carrier will start rolling out twice daily flights to the city from the 25th March next year.
The airline first started offering flights to Venice in 2007 and till date it remains the only airline that has a non-stop passenger service between Venice-Dubai. Venice is undoubtedly one of the biggest tourist destinations in Europe, enticing millions of holiday makers every year to look for cheap flight tickets. Venice is also a busy business hub that is renowned for its small and mid-size companies. No wonder, Emirates is offering yet another daily service to the Italian city!
The airline’s new flight to Venice, EK 137, will take off from the Dubai airport at 1545hrs and arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport at 2000hrs. The return flight, EK 138, will take off from Venice at 2150hrs and will arrive at 0535hrs the next day.
267-seater Airbus 340-300 will be placed on the route by Emirates, with first class, business class and economy travel class options.
Emirates seems to have taken a fancy to Italy! This new double daily to Venice follows the airline’s decision to introduce A380 on one of its double daily flights to Rome. The introduction of the world’s largest airliner on the route would most probably transform into relatively cheap flight tickets for passengers on the route.
While we are on the subject of Emirates’ A380s, it is prudent to mention that the Middle East airline is all set to offer Internet connectivity onboard its A380s. Of course, it will command a price and is not to be included in the cost of air tickets.
