The Festival of Onam is Sure to lure Tourists to India

International tourists, who are planning a trip to Kerala, India’s most popular holiday destination, have a wonderful treat waiting for them in September. The state’s most awaited festival, Onam, is about to drench the southern Indian province into wonderful shades of merrymaking. The week-long official Onam celebrations conducted by the Department of Tourism are slated to be organised from 14th to 20th of the month. Several state departments are planning to organise pageantry in the capital city, Thiruvananthapuram on September 20. This will allow the out-of-state visitor to fully immerse into the region’s scintillating cultural whirlpool that’s so unique to India.
