Etihad Earned World's Leading Airline at World Travel Awards

By picking up the World's Leading Airline award at the World Travel Awards (WTA) for the fourth consecutive year, Etihad Airways, the national airline of United Arab Emirates and based in Abu Dhabi, has added another foremost feather in its cap.

WTA was founded in 1993 to distinguish the very best in the industry and are dubbed as “Oscars of the travel industry”. These prestigious awards have attained major status among global flyers who seek for popular hotel brands, destinations and carriers to book flights tickets with.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier also earned accolade of Leading First Class Product for its Diamond First Class service at the 2012 edition, held in New Delhi, India.
